Question 1

What is IPTV?

Accepted Answer

IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television. It delivers live TV channels and on-demand content over your internet connection, instead of cable, satellite or an aerial. You watch it through an app on a smart TV, a streaming device, a phone or a computer. With TeleZest, one subscription includes 25,000+ live channels and 120,000+ films and series on demand, in 4K quality where available.

Question 2

How does TeleZest work?

Accepted Answer

TeleZest streams live channels and on-demand titles over your home internet connection. You subscribe and receive your login details by email. You enter them in a player app on your TV or device and start watching. The smart EPG adds catch-up on around 80% of channels. All you need is a stable connection: 25 Mbps for HD, or 50 Mbps if the family watches in 4K.

Question 3

How do I get TeleZest?

Accepted Answer

Choose a plan and pay online. TeleZest plans start at €29 for 3 months (€49 for 1 year), on 1 or 2 devices, as a one-time payment with no commitment. At checkout, pay by card or crypto. As soon as your payment is confirmed, your username, password and server address reach you by email within 1 to 2 hours. A question before you order? Our team answers 24/7 on WhatsApp.

Question 4

What is the difference between IPTV and regular streaming apps?

Accepted Answer

IPTV offers live TV channels with a channel guide, just like cable but over the internet. Regular streaming apps focus solely on on-demand libraries, so households often stack three or four subscriptions to cover series, films, news and sport. A single TeleZest subscription brings together 25,000+ live channels plus 120,000+ on-demand titles from €29 for 3 months, with catch-up on around 80% of channels via the smart EPG.

Question 5

Is IPTV cheaper than cable?

Accepted Answer

Yes, by far. Traditional cable and satellite packages cost much more than an IPTV subscription, whereas TeleZest starts at €29 for 3 months, or around €4.08 per month on the 1-year plan (€49) and around €3.71 per month on the 2-year plan (€89). That adds up to considerable savings every year for a household, with 25,000+ live channels and 120,000+ on-demand titles included at every tier.

Question 6

Why is IPTV so much cheaper than cable?

Accepted Answer

IPTV avoids the costs that inflate cable bills: no coaxial networks to maintain, no rented set-top boxes, no installation crews and no forced bundles. Streams travel over the internet connection you already pay for, hence a price from €29 for 3 months. A lower price doesn't mean fewer features — you still get 4K where available, catch-up TV and 24/7 support.

Question 7

Is IPTV worth it if I don't watch much TV?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. At €29 for 3 months with no commitment, IPTV costs less than a few takeaway meals over a quarter. Occasional viewers can take the 3-month plan around big sporting events or the holidays, then simply let the subscription expire with no penalty. The 120,000+ on-demand titles also mean a single subscription can replace two or three separate streaming subscriptions.

Question 8

How much does TeleZest cost?

Accepted Answer

TeleZest prices are €29 for 3 months on 1 device, €49 for 1 year on 1 device, €79 for 1 year on 2 devices and €89 for 2 years on 1 device. The 2-year plan works out at around €3.71 per month. Every tier includes the same content: 25,000+ live channels, 120,000+ on-demand titles and 4K where available.

Question 9

Is there a commitment or a cancellation fee with TeleZest?

Accepted Answer

No. TeleZest has no commitment, no cancellation fees and no hidden fees. Each plan is paid upfront for its 3-month, 1-year or 2-year term, and nothing renews automatically unless you choose to renew. If you stop, your access simply ends when the term expires.

Question 10

Can I pay for IPTV with PayPal?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the payment methods available at checkout, you can usually pay by card or by crypto. At checkout, you receive the exact amount and the instructions; once payment is confirmed, your order is processed and your login details are emailed to you within 1 to 2 hours.

Question 11

Does TeleZest offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Once your subscription is activated and your login details have been sent, all sales are final. Refunds are only granted if we are unable to provide you with a working subscription (for example if your account is never delivered or the service never starts) — not because of internet connection problems, device incompatibility or channel changes. If you are unsure whether your device is compatible, contact us before ordering. See our full refund policy for details.

Question 12

How do I renew my IPTV subscription with TeleZest?

Accepted Answer

Choose your plan length and pay by card or crypto. Your existing login details stay the same, and the new term is added within 1 to 2 hours of payment. Plans start at €29 for 3 months; 1 year costs €49 and 2 years €89.

Question 13

Can I change plans or add devices later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can switch to a longer term or to the 2-device plan at each renewal, or upgrade mid-term by contacting support. TeleZest offers 1-device and 2-device plans, and each device streams independently.

Question 14

How do I cancel my IPTV subscription, and is there a refund?

Accepted Answer

There is no commitment, so cancelling simply means not renewing — nobody to call, nothing to send back. If you want to start small, the 3-month plan is the shortest.

Question 15

Which channels do you get with TeleZest?

Accepted Answer

TeleZest includes 25,000+ live channels: the major French channels, international channels, sport, news, children's programmes, films and a wide international selection, from €29 for 3 months. French local and national news, the major channels and all the main sports categories are covered.

Question 16

Does IPTV offer international channels, such as Arabic, English and others?

Accepted Answer

Yes. TeleZest's line-up of 25,000+ channels includes strong international coverage on top of the French channels, including other language groups, all included in the base plan with no expensive add-on packages.

Question 17

What is the EPG in IPTV?

Accepted Answer

The EPG (electronic programme guide) is the on-screen TV guide within your IPTV app, showing what's on now and next on each channel. TeleZest includes a smart EPG with catch-up on around 80% of channels, so you can rewatch recent programmes you missed.

Question 18

Can I watch IPTV in 4K?

Accepted Answer

Yes, TeleZest streams in 4K where available, with most channels in Full HD. For smooth 4K viewing, we recommend an internet connection of at least 50 Mbps for the household; for HD, 25 Mbps is enough.

Question 19

Can I watch live sport with IPTV?

Accepted Answer

Yes. IPTV streams live sport over your internet connection, including football, basketball, combat sports and motorsport. TeleZest has 25,000+ live channels with dedicated sports coverage, plus catch-up on around 80% of channels.

Question 20

Does IPTV cope with match nights without dropping out?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when the provider sizes its servers for peak hours. TeleZest uses load-balanced servers built for Saturday-night peaks, so interruptions are rare. On your side, 25 Mbps for HD or 50 Mbps for 4K keeps the stream smooth for the whole match, and a wired connection beats Wi-Fi for the big games.

Question 21

Which devices can I use for IPTV?

Accepted Answer

IPTV works on smart TVs, phones, tablets, streaming boxes/sticks and computers. With TeleZest, one subscription works on the devices you already own, and plans cover 1 or 2 devices watching at the same time. Most households already own two or three compatible devices.

Question 22

Do I need a box for IPTV?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't need a box for IPTV. A free IPTV player app on a smart TV, phone, tablet, streaming stick or computer is enough. Dedicated IPTV boxes are optional, not required — TeleZest works the same way either way.

Question 23

How do I set up IPTV step by step?

Accepted Answer

Setting up IPTV takes about 10 minutes. Install a standard IPTV player app on your device, then enter the server address, username and password from your welcome email. The channel list and guide load automatically. No box, no technician, no cable installation.

Question 24

What internet speed do I need for IPTV?

Accepted Answer

Allow 25 Mbps for stable HD IPTV and 50 Mbps for a household watching in 4K or on several screens at once. Most internet plans today comfortably exceed this. A wired Ethernet connection to your main TV beats Wi-Fi every time.

Question 25

Can I use IPTV on a smart TV without a box or stick?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Open your smart TV's app store, install an IPTV player app and sign in with your TeleZest login details. The whole setup happens on the TV itself, with no box, stick or extra hardware, and the channels load in under a minute.

Question 26

Does my subscription work when I travel abroad?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in most cases. TeleZest is delivered over the internet, so it works on any good connection anywhere in the world — ideal for French speakers abroad. Aim for at least 25 Mbps wherever you are.

Question 27

Is IPTV really in 4K quality?

Accepted Answer

A stream can only be as sharp as its original source — claiming a service streams “everything in 4K” is marketing, not real-world broadcasting. TeleZest delivers true 4K where it exists and offers Full HD everywhere else. You'll need around 50 Mbps and a 4K-compatible TV or box to see the difference.

Question 28

How much data does IPTV use?

Accepted Answer

IPTV streaming uses around 3 to 8 GB per hour, with HD near the bottom of the range and 4K near the top. On an unlimited home internet connection, that's not a problem; on capped plans, it adds up quickly — choose HD streams rather than 4K if your data is limited.

Question 29

Why is my IPTV not working?

Accepted Answer

Most IPTV problems come down to three things: your internet connection, your login details, or the app itself. Restart your router and your streaming device, check that the login details were entered correctly, and reopen the app. Still no channels? Contact the 24/7 team via TeleZest's support centre.

Question 30

How do I fix IPTV buffering or freezing?

Accepted Answer

Restart your router and your streaming device, then switch from Wi-Fi to a wired connection if you can. TeleZest recommends 25 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps for households watching in 4K, so run a speed test to check. Pausing downloads on other devices and moving closer to the router also help. See our full buffering guide for details.

Question 31

Is IPTV down?

Accepted Answer

Complete IPTV outages are rare — the cause is usually local. Try another channel, then another device. If streams fail only on your connection, restart your router. If everything fails, contact support.

Question 32

Is IPTV legal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. IPTV is legal when the provider holds the distribution rights to the content it streams — the technology itself is perfectly legal. What the law prohibits is retransmitting channels or programmes without the rights holders' permission. This is general information, not legal advice.

Question 33

What makes an IPTV service illegal?

Accepted Answer

An IPTV service crosses into illegality when it distributes channels it never licensed. Warning signs include abnormally low prices, no information about the company, untraceable payments only, and “lifetime” offers — treat this as a practical checklist, not legal advice.

Question 34

Is IPTV safe to use?

Accepted Answer

IPTV is safe when you choose a reliable provider. The real risks come from dubious services: payment fraud, malware in unofficial apps, and operators who disappear. A provider with secure payments, clear pricing and real support removes most of that risk.

Question 35

Do I need a VPN for IPTV?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't need a VPN for TeleZest. It works on any normal internet connection without a VPN. A VPN is an optional privacy tool — the same personal choice as for any other online activity, although it can reduce your effective streaming speed.
